ATTIC Alert
Produced in the United States during the 1980s, this style of furniture reflects diverse design movements of the era that blended bold materials and minimalist forms.
The approach to using Lucite in furniture design during the 1980s echoes a broader trend towards innovative materials, seen in works by notable designers of the time, though not exclusively belonging to any specific designer.
The coffee table's aesthetic is reminiscent of influential designers like Charles Hollis Jones, who helped popularize the use of acrylic in furniture through creative and functional designs.
