History
  • Issa Shojaei, born in 1955 in Azerbaijan, is known for creating artworks that reflect both personal and cultural narratives, contributing to the region's artistic heritage.
  • The serigraph technique, which involves creating images through a silk screen, has a rich history in fine art, enabling artists to produce multiple editions of their work while maintaining quality.
  • Art from the mid-20th century often embodies the socio-political themes of its time, which may resonate in Shojaei's depictions.
  • The number of the edition (33/210) suggests a limited release, highlighting the potential scarcity and collectibility of the artwork.
