A Regency neoclassical style open arm chair, ebonized wood with parcel-gilt decoration, the upholstered back with curved crest rail and scrolled down swept arms, with upholstered seat supported by gently curving saber leg, headed with gilt brass rosettes at the front. Comfortable, well proportioned, stylish and functional for everyday use as an occasional chair, desk chair or side chair. Down swept arms are 27-30" high.
