The "Comrade" CONSOLE CABINET - Vinyl record stand - storage - media console ...
Add some warm wood grains to your home! This listing is for the "Console" cabinet version of the Comrade, a one of a kind sidecar cabinet. There is NO assembly required, this unit ships assembled** FREE. This design is ALSO available in audio rack form as a 14u sidecar.
Housed in a beautiful solid Spruce enclosure (stained, or natural options), the Comrade aims to maximize its use of space & organization by providing many configurable options. The enclosures feature an angled upper housing with multiple shelving positions, and a large storage area beneath - perfect for storing vinyl records (Holds approximately 100+ records with a realistic mix of double albums factored in), but also has additional shelving location options below if desired. Additionally the sides of the cabinet include routed ƒ-holes which while aesthetically unique and pleasing, also allow for cross ventilation inside of the housing.
TOP TO BOTTOM:
The top surface has a unique tool-less (patent pending) locking system machined into it, which allows multiple products to be used securely with the Comrade as pictured. Munstre will soon be adding new products to lock onto the Comrade (taller storage shelving, rotating speaker wings, an angled worktop etc.., ) and it currently pairs perfectly with all of my desktop audio racks (2u - 8u). Got an idea for what a product/stand you'd like to stack on top? Send me a message!
If shelving is desired, the interior walls offer 10 potential shelf positions. These are strategically located to hold your receivers, record player, books etc... The shelves are held in place with 6 heavy duty pins, which will grab the shelf for a very sturdy and secure storage fit.
The cross bar at the middle of the cabinet provides stability for the exterior walls, and includes a routed tray for storing those little objects that hang around your place (guitar picks, pens & pencils etc.. ) OR can be used to seat a 12" vinyl record for a "now playing" place to put the record.
The interior walls have pre-routed locations to place cable management brackets, allowing the user to choose the best placement for each bracket (Left side/Right side/Upper/Lower). Mounting brackets are included, along with hook & loop style fasteners for quick and easy cable gathering to keep your rack setup as neat as possible.
Finally, the base of the the Comrade includes 3" heavy duty locking casters, the locks are easily clicked in & out of the locked position and can hold up to 750lbs.
