19th Century Aesthetic Movement Black Painted Table
A wonderfully graphic and sculptural 19th century Aesthetic Movement period table, in oak with later black painted surface, the rectangular top over turned spindles joined by arched brackets attached to square section and circular beehive turned legs which are joined by a shaped lower tier. Perfect for an entry hall table, as a serving table, bar or writing table, among other possibilities. Very solid and sturdy. A Victorian design, inspired by Japanese design elements, which reads as quite modern. Height: 29 3/4” Width: 39 3/4” Depth: 23 1/2”
