--- ABOUT THE DESIGN ---
I'd never heard of watermelon radishes before I was thrust in line at a busy, cafeteria-style restaurant in LA. Forced to make a quick decisions, my eye landed on this beautiful, but peculiarly colored hot pink and green veggie dish, and I knew I had to try it. Not only was the dish delicious, but the color and pattern inspired me to create this artwork.

This design started as a watercolor painting. I intentionally keep the marks of an imperfect brush stroke to give a handmade feel.
